Amir Johnson is yet another player who has added a three point shot to his game. This is the new NBA. Everyone shoots threes. They’re efficient. To be a good player, you must shoot them.
Luckily it seems to be mainly corner threes for now. It seems like he’s always been shooting the long two, so a move to the corner is fine. What would be even better is if he stayed near the paint and utilized his best attribute, which is rebounding. It’s harder to affect the game standing on the perimeter.
But who knows what the Raptors are thinking at any given time. At least they had enough sense to get rid of Rudy Gay.
