I don’t blame you if you don’t believe me. That is some seriously screwed up stuff right there. But I would never lie to you, dear reader. The player in question is in fact Tyreke Evans of the New Orleans Pelicans.
Tyreke has regressed pretty seriously this season shooting-wise. 15% from three? C’mon son. Sure, he’s rebounding and assisting at career-high rates, and his team is modestly successful, but damn dude, can you pick your shots a little bit better? I don’t need advanced stats to tell me that those midrange jumpers are never going to go in. The basket isn’t big enough to account for all the ways you might screw up the shot.
That crossover was sick though. I love watching dudes get turned into pretzels.
