Trey Burke 24 Points/15 Assists Full Highlights (4/6/2014)

Trey Burke has had about the kind of season I expected after his Summer League performance. Surprise, I know. He is a good player but is tasked with doing too much on his awful Jazz team, so his percentages are Jennings-esque. On the upside, he is tasked with doing too much on his awful Jazz team, which should help his development for the future when he has better teammates and can take a smaller role.

And before one of you autists counts up all the assists and finds one missing, yes, I missed an assist. A good one too. But there’s no way I’m reuploading this; my internet is too crap. In lieu of a video representation, I present to you a text representation of the assist.

Trey Burke gets a screen from Jeremy Evans on the wing at the three point line. It’s a good screen, which he goes around to the right. Jeremy Evans cuts to the basket perfectly, and a similarly perfect bounce pass is thrown by Burke. Evans receives the ball, takes a step, leaps, and packs it with one hand over the hapless and dismayed Marreese Speights.

Say, that turned out better than a clip would have. I think all the rest of my highlights are gonna be text-only from now on.
