It is mildly concerning that Avery Bradley’s favorite shot on the floor is also the one that is least likely to go in: the long two-pointer. He often creates this shot for himself rather than relying on a teammate to pass him the ball, reducing even further the likelihood of success. Still, he shoots well from this area, so I’ll bite my tongue until this pattern of behavior starts to obviously affect his team in a negative manner.
And, to be frank, Avery could turn the ball over on half of his possessions and he would still be a better option than the scrubbed-out assortment of scrubs that makes up the Celtics’ guard rotation.
