Cleveland may or may not have overpaid (alright let’s face it they drastically overpaid) for Mozgod’s services, but you cannot argue with results. He has filled a huge bear-shaped hole in the Cavaliers’ roster, with his defense and bigness. Unfortunately, we’ve seen less of his offensive, uh, “creativity” (shooting threes), and more stuff at the rim.
It seems like just yesterday that the only thing he was known for was getting dunked on by Blake Griffin. How times have changed! Now he’s the starting center on a championship contender, receiving lobs from LeBron and even throwing a few of his own. Next step: somehow throw a lob to Kyrie Irving.
