Well, Enes The Menace got his wish. He’s no longer on the Jazz and no longer withering under the cold, tall shadow of Rudy Gobert. His only competition for center minutes on the Thunder is Steven Adams, who, at the moment, is recuperating from injuries sustained from a sheep attack in the mountains of New Zealand. Everything’s great, right?
Not so much. In his rush to get to a new team, Enes has left behind the one thing that mattered to him in Utah.
Jesseca. The most beautiful cheerleader of them all. Their relationship was just beginning to blossom, to flourish. A sunrise of love and lust, terminated before the day could fully break. Yes, there are more cheerleaders in Oklahoma City, some of them quite beautiful: Taylor, Kendaleen, Raylee. But none can match the beauty of Jesseca, beauty that Enes will now only see on road trips to Salt Lake City.
Perhaps she has already forgotten about him. But Enes will never forget about her. In his apartment, unlit except for a single candle, he looks at her picture and feels his heart break under the strength of its yearning. A beautiful girl, but more importantly, a beautiful person, now lost forever.
Jesseca.
