DownToBuck has definitely learned his lesson this time:
No more joking about former Yugoslav countries in the descriptions. There are still a lot of tensions in that region, and what may seem like innocuous fun here in the States comes off as nationalistic hate over there.
Which kind of sucks for me, because now what am I even supposed to say about Mario Hezonja if I can’t make fun of Croatia? That he’s ugly and has bad acne? That he’s been way overhyped by Magic fans desperate for a franchise savior after watching year upon year of middling talent? Is that you want? Or do you want my honest heartfelt opinions about this kid? Fine: I think Mario is going to be a pretty good player, and I’m excited to see him find his footing in the NBA.
