When a player ties his career-high, is is appropriate to put the words “career high” in the title of a video depicting the feat? That is the question I am currently struggling with.
I mean, it’s not a career high for E’Twaun because it’s not a higher point total than every other game in his career. But it IS a career high because he’s never scored higher. This seems like a shortcoming with our current mathematical systems, honestly. Math shouldn’t allow for ambiguity, yet here I am, feeling like the entire situation is ambiguously ambiguous.
Would it kill E’Twaun to make just one more shot? Or even a free throw? Then I wouldn’t have to worry about this.
