Wesley Matthews: bad contract or nah?
I mean, he’s still averaging 12 points a game even after his Achilles injury. That’s pretty good, right? 39% shooting kind of sucks, but hey, injury, you know. Takes a while to get back into form. He can still make and take threes at a good clip, so who cares if he can’t finish at the rim? He’s not so bad. The Mavericks could still be contenders with him on the roster, I bet.
Wait, what? SEVENTEEN MILLION DOLLARS PER YEAR? Forget it. This dude has the worst contract in the league, worse than Omer Asik, worse than Nikola Pekovic. I hope he enjoys being the reason that Dirk retires with only one ring.
