I said in my last Kristaps Porzingis video that I was favoring Brandon Jennings as the Knicks starting PG over Derrick Rose, simply because of the superior chemistry he already had with Kris-P (pronounced “crispy”, you can also spell it that way if you want).
I am vindicated. Not like anyone was saying I was wrong, because this one is kind of obvious, but still. Vindication is mine. I wanted it and now I have it.
Notice how the Knicks commentator who isn’t Clyde Frazier says something about the connection that Crispy and Jennings have after a nice fastbreak bucket. That’s all the confirmation I need. He didn’t go so far as to say that Derrick Rose was the worst starting PG in the league, but that’s what was implied. You can tell after he says the first part that he wants to burst out and add “Oh and by the way Rose is garbage and he is tainting Kristaps with his garbaginess”. Instead, the following silence says it all anyway.
