Jonas Valanciunas 23 Points Full Highlights (11/20/2016)

I won’t even try to comment on the way that the Raptors-Kings game ended last night. Apparently it was contentious and controversial. Math involving the shot clock and the game clock was involved. Balls were tipped. Toronto fans think the league is rigged against them because of the leaf on their flag. Players are tweeting all over the place.

I won’t get into any of that. All I’ll say is: it wouldn’t have been a problem if Jonas Valanciunas had shot more than one shot in the fourth quarter. And that shot wasn’t even a shot. It was a tip attempt. Remember, this is after he scored nineteen in the first half.

For your perusal, here is a complete list of Kings players who had absolutely no hope of containing JV at any point in the game, and certainly not in a theoretical fourth quarter where JV gets tons of touches in his preferred spots:

-Willie Cauley-Stein
-Kosta Koufos
-DeMarcus Cousins
-Dave Joerger

Forget about the refs for a moment. Forget about Adam Silver wiping his butt with a map of Canada. Forget those things and look at what’s in front of you: Dwayne Casey wiping his butt with a picture of Jonas Valanciunas’ face. That’s what’s really going on here.
