This is a great game from Marreese “Speighetti” Speights. Perhaps his best game of the season. This highlight video should be great, right? It’s got a big guy shooting threes, it’s got the same big guy doing a weird dribble move, it’s got a cyst, it’s got everything you want and more. There’s just one problem:
The folks over at TNT are deliberately SABOTAGING my highlight videos. They have done this to me before and they will continue to do it in the future. But I won’t remain silent. I will lay bare their trickery and deceit, right here in the most public of places, this video description.
Their broadcast of the Clippers-Thunder game was, on the face of it, complete. Most of the basketball plays were represented in the televised product. But one extremely vital action was left out, and I know it wasn’t an accident. One of Mo Speights’ clear-path free throws is missing. There is no video evidence of it ever happening. The only thing I have to go in is the sound of what I presume to be the free throw going through the net while the broadcast shows some propaganda graphic about Blake Griffin’s injury situation.
TNT knows that I take the “full” aspect of my full highlights very seriously. They hoped to dissuade me from making this video by failing to give me video footage of one of Speight’s free throws. Something that the average viewer won’t make a stink about, but also something that will cripple my entire highlight video enterprise.
I won’t lie down and take it. The video has been uploaded, despite missing a free throw. TNT can never hold back DTB.
