Begrudgingly, I have to add “Warriors bandwagon douchebags” to the list of fanbases who have suffered true pain as NBA fans, those who have felt the agony of Dion Waiters, who really isn’t all that good of a player, dropping 33 on their favored team. It sucks, because I, as a Bucks fan, do not want to be lumped with those trend-hopping jerkoffs, but rules are rules, and Waiters has added a fourth fanbase to his career-high victimization list.
Eventually, he will score more than 33, and the pain can be forgotten. Until that time, though, there are an ever-growing number of fanbases who can respond to any NBA-related complaint made by another fan with “yeah, but I had to watch Dion Waiters put up 33 points while my team stood around drooling on their jerseys”.
This was a much swaggier performance than his 33 points two nights ago against the Bucks. That one featured a lot of layups. This one features a lot of swaggy jumpers, including the ultimate nocturnal swagmission over Klay Thompson to win the game. That’s what I like to see from D-Wait: jumpers that no sane person would ever take in game, repeatedly splashed in the face of bewildered defenders.
