Devin Booker is kind of one-dimensional as a player right now, offering scoring almost exclusively, mixed with a dash of playmaking. The good news for him is that it usually takes a few years of not doing anything besides scoring before NBA fans realize what’s going on and turn on you for it. Hell, I bet Monta Ellis STILL has fans who think he’s a good all-around player.
Even if The Booker Report never adds anything to his game and just scores 20ppg for a decade or so, there’s a reason the game is called “basketball”. It’s not called “reboundball” or “defenseball” or “shotselectionball”. The point of the game is to make baskets; everything else is secondary. Otherwise, instead of showing pretty much nothing but buckets on this channel, I would show tight rotations and nice screens and good boxouts.
LAME. Give me buckets or give me death. I think some famous person said that, and even if a famous person didn’t say that, I’m kind of a famous person, and I just said that, so actually a famous person DID say that.
