Derrick Williams 12 Points Cavaliers Debut Full Highlights (2/9/2017)

It’s going against my better judgement, but here you go: Derrick Williams scoring 12 points in his first game donning the Cavs’, uh, blue. Before you get excited, this vid consists of three layups and six free-throws. That’s it. No D-Thrill in this one.

If I see anyone post in the comments stuff like “I think he can be a good piece for the Cavs” or “Why did the Heat waive him LMAO” or “The playmaker Bron-Bron wanted!” I’m going to lose it. There’s a reason he’s barely hanging on by a thread in the NBA right now. The Heat started winning as soon as he stopped playing. I’m not going to believe that he’ll help any team (unless it’s a Chinese team) do anything until he proves otherwise. 12 points is a good start, and actually is way more points than I thought he’d be scoring on his 10-day, but that’s all it is. A start.

His hair still looks good though. He’s got that going for him. And he’s theoretically better than a couple of the total scrubs the Cavaliers have floating around their lineup. He’ll be able to get minutes, right? Man, if D-Thrill has a career resurgence in Cleveland…
