Kevin Seraphin 16 Points Full Highlights (2/10/2017)

Kevin Seraphin has been in the NBA for six seasons, and he STILL can’t get to three free-throw line. That was his problem early in his career, and I think it’s gotten even worse for him in that area. EVIDENCE: He has taken 111 shots this year, and gone to the foul line 6 times. It’s not the worst free throw rate in the league; Damjan Rudez has played almost as many minutes and not even had one freebie attempt. Danny Green has played way more minutes with about the same rate.

The way Seraphin plays just doesn’t lend himself to getting fouled. He likes doing finesse post moves, not banging post moves, and he loves shooting midrange jumpers. He’ll dunk it or tip it in sometimes, but hooks and short jumpers are his moldy bread and rancid butter.

He also doesn’t pass the ball. Ever.

It’s been a long time since I made Seraphin highlights. A LONG time. He was still on the Wizards last time he scored enough points. To be honest, I thought we weren’t ever going to see him on this channel again. But here he is, putting in 8 buckets on 10 tries, not getting fouled (but he did get an assist!), and soundly rejected two shots. Vive la Guyane!
