The Bucks are simply way more fun to watch when Mirza Teletovic is taking and making swaggy triples. This year, his performances have tended more towards the “taking” and not so much the “making”. Watching him attempt swaggy triples is also kind of fun, more fun that the usual player, but the funness goes way up when they go in and you can see the opposing team deflate.
Such was the case tonight. I could practically feel the life-force get sapped from the Pacers with every Em-Tee-Three. He wasn’t taking the greatest shots, so I can see why the Pacers would be dispirited, but these shots weren’t as crazy as some of the ones he’s been throwing up this year.
The Bucks’ playoff hopes are dashed, and while I love Telly in Milwaukee, I bet there’s a contender out there who would give up a lot for him. If there are any contenders that still have trade assets. Are the Raptors a contender? I bet they could use him. Celtics? Give us a bundle of picks and he’s your’s, Danny Ainge.
