I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: the Detroit Pistons need an Alpha Wolf. ALPHA. WOLF. The scoring-by-committee stuff is cool, but this isn’t 2004. They’ve got the lowest-scoring team-leading-scorer of any team in the league (Does that make sense? I suck at words). Tobias Harris is leading the team at a little over 16 a game, headlining the rest of the starters, a bunch of dudes around 14. He’s also the most efficient player on the team except for Jon Leuer, who probably isn’t ready for Alpha Wolf status.
There’s no reason Tobes can’t bump his scoring up to like 20 or maybe even a little more. Just take a few shots away from… Drummond or something. Take away a few of those godawful hooks that Drummond chucks up there, turn them into midrange jumpers or drives to the basket for Tobes, BAM, you’ve got a legit 20 ppg dude.
