Glenn Robinson III 19 Points Full Highlights (2/15/2017)

Somehow it had escaped my notice that Glenn Robinson III is in the dunk contest this year. Now that I think of it, I don’t know anybody else who’s in it other than Derrick Jones, the D-League’s resident dunk king (where’s D.J. Stephens anyway?). This is probably exactly what the NBA doesn’t want; fans not caring who’s in the dunk contest because this year’s dunk contest will suck total monkey balls compared to last year’s.

I can’t even think of any particularly good in-game dunks that G-Rob the third has had in his career. As far as I can remember, he’s never appeared in any of my monthly dunkilations. If he has, it’s only been once or twice for dunks of middling quality. He tried to poster-party Tristan Thompson in this game but got denied; it that dunk had happened, it would have been by far the best of Little Dog’s NBA career. I showed a replay of the failed dunk, which I don’t usually do, but Bill Walton and the other old guy he was commenting with were exchanging some serious bantz and I needed to fit it in somehow.

But, yeah, what happened to D.J. Stephens? If we get him in the dunk contest I would actually watch it. Would it help if he told everybody that he was going to dunk while driving a Kia?
