Is it just me or does Ivica Zubac look older now than he did at the start of the season? Before you explain to me the nature of time and how he looks older because he is in fact five months older now than he was at the beginning of the season, be aware that I fully understand how time works. I know how to read a clock. Even the ones with the hands. Time is a familiar concept to me.
It could just be the neckbeard thing he’s got going on, but the Zubac I remember looked like a teenager who gets scared when you say the word “beer” around him, not a college senior who’s been hung over every weekend for a year straight. It’s startling how much his face has matured. Is this what the grueling NBA schedule does to young players? Turns them into men, not just in attitude but in physical appearance as well? That would partially explain how Paul Pierce turned from a normal-looking guy into a dude who looks ready to crawl into a coffin and wait for the blissful release of death.
However, if Zubac has really matured faster than his teammates, then how do we explain Jordan Clarkson seeming to get younger in appearance with each passing day? The only logical explanation I can come up with is that Earth is currently hurtling towards sure demise in the infinite density of a black hole and Los Angeles is currently sitting in some kind of time-warped singularity.
See, I told you I understand how time works.
