Dorian Finney-Smith 12 Points Full Highlights (2/25/2017)

Dorian Finney-Smith is pretty good for being named after a musical mode. I’m not an expert music theorist, but a Dorian mode scale is apparently just a natural minor scale except the sixth note is sharp. It’s also just the white notes on a piano keyboard if you start from D and go up to the next D. I think what I’m talking about is “Modern” Dorian mode which is different from “Medieval” Dorian mode and “Greek” Dorian mode, but I’m not sure, because I don’t remember jack diddly poo from my music theory class in high school. I’m just regurgitating stuff I read on Wikipedia and stuff I watched on the YouTubz because I’m incapable of talking intelligently on the subject by myself.

None of that music theory stuff is important right now. This is basketball video, after all. What matters is that Dorian “Mode” Finney-Smith scored twelve points while displaying such attributes as “poise” and “maturity”. Just these things by themselves aren’t enough to launch him into the ROTY of the year race, but I have to concede that Mode has done a lot more in the NBA than I ever thought he would. Good for him. His contracts in the NBA are gonna be a lot bigger than the ones he would have gotten if he had just given up and decided to dominate Europe or China or Israel.
