It’s taken about 3/4ths of the season, but Brandon Ingram has, at long last, accomplished the “Have An Actually Good Game” achievement! Congratulations! Not the most prestigious achievement, truth be told: according to Steam, 91.3 percent of NBA players have earned that particular one, above only the “Play In The NBA” one, which has a rate of 99.9 percent (I think they messed up with JamesOn Curry). Still, Ingram has to start somewhere in his quest towards the Hall of Fame achievement. They don’t let dudes who haven’t scored 20 points in an NBA game get that one very often.
There’s some good stuff here. The kind of stuff you can use as a foundation for greater stuff in the future. He scored in every way possible (not literally of course, figuratively, come on, I shouldn’t have to explain this), showing why he was the number 2 pick. He kind of flung some of those jumpers instead of shooting them, but I can’t hate. I’m not the one who just scored 22 against a championship contender. And the best part? No assists! You guys can’t rag on me for not showing the assists when there are no assists to show! Ha!
