The Nets season is, mercifully, coming to an end. Better luck next year, bros, because you can just forget all about this one. Did anything go right for them at all? I guess Brook Lopez was pretty solid. And some of their young talent didn’t totally crash and burn when given more opportunity then they maybe should’ve.
Young talent like Caris LeVert. Don’t look now, but he’s been one of the most impressive members of this cursed 2016 draft class. All he had to do to be top 5 was not gargle nutsacks 100% of the time, and he managed it, only gargling nutsacks like half the time. That’s pretty good! I don’t know if he exactly qualifies as “hope for the future” for the Nets, but… ah screw it. They have to have something to look forward to, right? That something can be Caris LeVert! I’m having a hard time convincing myself, but I bet Nets fans will be easier to win over.
