Myles Turner 23 Points Full Highlights (4/8/2017)

Myles Turner has been in a slump lately. A big slump. He had 39 double-digit scoring games out of 40 during one stretch of the season, but has been held to single-digits way more often after the All-Star break. His jumper, so wet at the beginning of the season, has abandoned him somewhat. What’s the deal? Here I am, so consumed by hype that I compare him favorably to Jabari Parker (it’s still closer than you might think), and he goes and starts shooting sub-40 percent for a whole month? That’ll teach me to get hyped ever again.

It would be nice if this game marks the end of his slump, but I’m not holding my breath. If it’s caused by what I think it’s caused by (fatigue), then the only thing that will truly help is a bunch of rest before the playoffs. Assuming the Pacers make the playoffs. If they don’t, then he’ll have tons of time to regain his strength and break the slump for good.
