This video contains Kevin Seraphin scoring 17 points. That’s what the title says, and the title is not lying to you like most YouTube vid titles these days. They’re the usual Seraphin-style points too. Some hooks, an unexpectedly-wet midrange J, a dunk. Nothing unusual, but pretty satisfying if that’s what you’re into.
But the real star of this video is the ever-elusive rarity known as the “Kevin Seraphin pass”. You read correctly! Seraphin passed the ball during this game against the 76ers, and not only did he pass it, he passed it in such a way that he almost got an assist! I would’ve loved nothing more than to show the first assist of his career but, sadly, Thaddeus Young missed the layup and had to have his buddy Seraphin come in and clean it up. A shame that the pass was wasted, but it gives me hope that in the Pacers’ finale, Seraphin may notch his coveted first-ever dime.
