Do you know what a metamorphosis is? Think back to your elementary school science classes. At some point during that period of your life, during which you spent most of your time picking your nose and eating dirt on the playground, you probably learned about this term. You at least learned about how caterpillars turn into butterflies. That’s an example of metamorphosis. Your small little brain, which honestly hasn’t gotten much bigger since then, might not have retained the word but it at least retained the concept unless you’re a total moron, which you might be.
Another example of metamorphosis is how Willie Cauley-Stein turned from a DNP-CD candidate at the beginning of the season to a jump-shooting, passing, dunking, rebounding, shot-blocking, all-of-the-above bigman by the end of it. Was the DeMarcus Cousins trade the single most important milestone in his development? Definitely. Was him not heeding the limitations opposed on him by others who considered him merely a defense + dunks big like DeAndre Jordan also an important milestone in his development? Yep. Was getting rejected by a 6/10 chick at a Sacramento bar at the beginning of the season, but then consistently nailing 10/10’s at the end of the season a third important milestone in his development? Absolutely.
Now the Kings have to decide who the center of the future is for them. WCS or Papa G? I hope some Greek people can visit this comment section and answer this question for us.
