Malcolm Brogdon 16 Points Full Highlights (4/15/2017)

Playoffs are here! Not as exciting for me as the regular season (scrubs hardly ever go off in the playoffs, for whatever reason), but still, fun can be extracted from these games. And with the playoffs’ arrival, we can expect another thing arriving in tandem: a Raptors first-game loss.

I spent pretty much this whole game waiting for the real Raptors team to show up and crush the Bucks. It happened a little bit in the second quarter, and I thought the game was probably over at that point, but somehow the Bucks clamped down and made the second half unwatchable from a Raptors-fan point of view. Probably unwatchable from a neutral-fan point of view as well; who wants to see a team shoot 17 percent over an entire half?

Malcolm Brogdon, with his typical solid solidity, was a big part of the winning effort. God, he’s so damn SOLID. It, like, blows my mind to think about. When was the last time I was pissed at him? I get pissed at every player on the Bucks (come ON Giannis you HAVE to shoot when you’re open!). He hardly ever makes mistakes, he passes when the pass is there, he doesn’t over-shoot, he defends well, who cares if he hardly ever scores 20? Going into the season, I thought Matthew Dellavedova would be the perfect PG for the Bucks. Turns out he sucks, but Brogdon is even perfect-er.
