De’Aaron Fox 18 Points Full Highlights (10/21/2017)

Attention fanbases other than the Kings’: this is what happens when you have a roster that is almost entirely composed of “potential” and “excitement”. You may think that that is what you want, but you often end up with a team that scores 79 only because they kind of went off in the fourth quarter, long after the other team had stopped trying. Sure, it was young talent doing most of the work in the game, but did you really have fun watching it?

I’m not saying that more Zach Randolph and Garrett Temple is the answer. They are the opposite of the answer, because the few extra wins they provide are meaningless. Will anyone remember Randolph’s stint in Sacramento? No. Additionally, more JaKarr Sampson is also not the answer. How is that dude still in the league? Anyone?

De’Aaron Fox was about the only bright spot for the Kings in this game. That makes the third game in a row that he’s been a bright spot, an accomplishment that probably would’ve won him ROY last year. Sadly, he was born a few months too late, and he gets to share a draft class with a bunch of other dudes who are also bright spots for their respective teams. Life just isn’t fair sometimes with the whole “selection of date/era of birth” thing. You know how sweet it would’ve been if I was born to see Brian Winters put up sick scoring games on the reg? God damn it.
