First the Suns beat a non D-League team, and now the Lakers beat the Wizards? How am I supposed to dump on teams for being the worst in the league if they keep winning games? If the Knicks come out and win a game within their next five, I’m gonna through up my hands and say “baloney!”. I can deal with the Lakers maybe not being as bad as they should be, but not the Knicks.
The Lakers only won tonight because of Brandon Ingram. Not even in the joking way like “so and so had 4 points and they won by 3 so it’s his win”. For real this time. This might be the first Lakers win where that’s the case, and if so, congratulations Lakers fans! Your second overall pick has matured to the point to where he is contributing to wins instead of the opposite! His initial drive to tie the game may have gotten nowhere, but he stuck with it and miraculously tipped the ball in with under a second left. Oh, and this whole thing was on national TV.
