Has Henry Ellenson officially made Jon Leuer redundant? Or is it the other way around, and Jon Leuer’s continued presence made Henry Ellenson redundant before he even arrived? It’s hard to tell, but I don’t really see a reason why the Pistons have to have both of these dudes. There’s a shortage of adequately-skilled American white dudes in the NBA, and such dudes that do exist need to be distributed evenly.
I think I have a solution. Henry Ellenson played for Marquette, right? Perfect! Trade to him Milwaukee, and we promise to treat him right unlike the time we had Jon Leuer. It’s a win-win: Ellenson gets to return home (-ish) and the Bucks have a chance to tap into the lucrative Rice Lake market by acquiring their hometown hero! So here’s the trade I’m proposing: Ellenson, Boban Marjanovic and a couple Detroit-style pizzas in exchange for D.J. Wilson and a 2056 2nd rounder (top 55 protected). Who says no?
