This was a, dare I say it, Jokic-esque performance by Nikola Vucevic tonight? It even had the same general quality of assists that Jokic gets in his triple doubles: some nice passes for cutters, and a few where the only reason they got the assist is because of a generous scorekeeper.
Doesn’t matter. Vucci Mane got a triple double, and unless the NBA swoops in and retroactively removes one of his assists, he’s going to have a triple double for the rest of his life. Nothing can take this away from him. The NBA history books will forever have a little “3×10” next to his name, the designation they gave for official NBA players who officially have an official NBA triple-double.
He also scored 31 points. Let’s not forget that. It’s not 40, which he has also done this season, but damn. He got a 30-point triple-double, and it’s not like he’s even that great a player. That’s an impressive feat for someone like Harden, but for Vooch? It’s insane.
