Tyler Ulis hasn’t been having the monster games we were seeing from him at the end of last season. The Suns aren’t as blatantly tanking, which could be a factor, but it’s not like he’s having to fight off better players for minutes. He just hasn’t been good this year.
Good news is that he has a lot of time to figure out how to be good again (and maybe grow a few inches) before the Suns are in position to do anything besides fritter away more high draft picks. Him being a non-horrible non-good PG isn’t ideal for the development of the team, but it’s better than starting Mike James, probably. I say that because apparently all Suns fans hate that guy. Who knew?
