Josh Richardson is slowly dragging himself out of the muck that comprised most of the beginning of his season. He still doesn’t dunk it as much as I think he should (what happened to all the posters he was producing in his rookie year?), but at least he’s scoring a little better. Double-digit games are the norm rather than the exception now.
Tonight was his magnum opus, a 28-point effort with 3 emphatic blocks for good measure. It’s a testatment to his potential that this vid doesn’t feel like a 28-point vid. Only good scorers, or at least smooth ones, can score this many points while making it seem like they only scored 15. Perhaps that’s only my perception, but I’m sticking with it. Heat fans are free to tell me that this game actually felt like 40.
