Buddy Hield is one of the very best three point shooters in the league, 7th at the time of this writing, so it’s a shame that his three-point attempts have actually gone down this season from his rookie year. A young sweet-shooting player like him on a team like the Kings should be chucking like there’s no tomorrow. People would probably start to get upset at his percentages as they dipped lower and lower, but I promise not to. I just want to see buckets from Buddy Buckets.
I think that way about pretty much any young player who shows any potential at all. If it was up to me, The NBA would be nothing but young raw talent sprinting up and down the court while bombing shots as soon as they could. Maybe I should start my own league? Call it the… Good League. G-League for short. I would sign the marginal-est talent I could find, pepper in some legit players so they can score 60 per game, and let them loose in high school gyms across the country. With the first pick in the G-League draft, the Oconomowoc Onslaught select… Buddy Hield!
