Astute viewers of this video may note that there is something missing from it: there are no lobs to Jarrett Allen!
I basically only made this video because Caris LeVert had five assists, and I figured all of them would be alley-oops that Allen could crush through the hoop. Turns out I just wasted my time, because only two of them were even to Allen, and only one of those resulted in a dunk, and that dunk wasn’t even really a dunk because it bounced off the rim before dropping through.
Sure, LeVert had 18 points, but who cares about his scoring? No one, that’s who. People care that he can throw perfect passes to Allen for aerial dunkage. That’s it. Do you think people watch Dirk highlights to see him hit anything other than fadeaways? Of course not. That would be stupid. There are only so many hours in the day, and they can’t be wasted watching non-representative NBA highlights.
