Jamal “Maple Curry” Murray is shooting over 50 percent from three this month. He’s at the point now where, if he’s open and launching from deep, I think it’s going to go in and it’s a surprise if it doesn’t. The only other player like that in the league for me is Tony Snell. Elite company! Murray is more like Snell than one would think; for example, both are definitely not Michael Carter-Williams.
Protip: if you search “Maple Curry” in Google you will get a whole bunch of presumably disgusting recipes that purport to combine the delicate spices and fragrances of Indian curry with some sort of maple syrup flavoring. If you make one of these recipes, please report back on how absolutely repulsive it is. If it turns out good, which it won’t, report back anyway so I can make fun of your clearly defective taste-buds.
