It didn’t even feel like Markkanen was scoring that many points. That’s what threes do, I guess, so he just kept making shots and all of a sudden he had 32 points. That’s a lot of points. How many games did it take Kevin Durant (you thought I was gonna say Dirk didn’t you!) to score this many? Don’t come at me with facts, I’m trying to make a point here. And that point is that Markkanen is at a similar point in his development as Durant was at the same point in their careers. Straight up. He is a Finnish Kevin Durant.
