This was, you could say, a “vintage” Suns performance. Vintage in that they got their ass kicked to hell and back, just like they did at the beginning of the season. They came back to make the score semi-respectable, but don’t let the final total fool you: the Pacers opened a can of whoop-ass on the entire Phoenix metropolitan area.
In the midst of the chaos, Josh Jackson had one of the best scoring games of his inaugural season with 20 points. These are the kind of flashes that Suns fans need to not be completely morose. I can’t tell if he’s been a disappointment or nah (leaning towards yah), but it would sure be nice if he could put these kind of numbers on a more regular basis. He’s young, but not super young, and he was the 4th pick. At least one 30-burger by this point would be really sweet.
