Oops! Almost forgot to do this Enes Kanter video. Oops part two: and I almost forgot to show him beefing it up with Devin Booker after decisively rejecting his weaksauce layup attempt. I have to say, what’s up with Kanter and beefing with people? He loves playing the role of the antagonist. Not as confrontational as, say, someone like Salah Mejri whose sole purpose in life is to get under other players’ skin, but he did start a twitter beef with LeBron for no reason. He sort of has the game to back all this up, but does that even matter? Beefing is not reserved for only the All-Stars in the league.
His beef with Booker got Booker ejected, which I would say was a tactical success. Booker is the Suns’ only threat to get hot and get his team back in the game; with him gone, Phoenix rolled over and took the punishment. Not from Kanter though, who did all his damage in the first quarter, which is way more impressive because I think the Suns were still trying to win at that point.
