Jeff Teague either lost this game for the Timberwolves, or Kent Bazemore won this game for the Hawks. Or both. Could be both. No reason it couldn’t be both.
Either way, Teague was straight-up embarrassed by Bazemore tonight, twice getting rejected on what looked to be open layups by the fleet-footed Baze. I would make some strained metaphor about how he looked like a hawk on those denials, but instead I’ll just say that they reminded me of when LeBron used to chase fools down. All those years ago. I don’t think he does much of that anymore.
In addition to the defense, Bazed God made a bunch of clutch shots, forgetting all about how much he sucked last game. That’s the mark of a true professional, or something. Keeping the past in the past where it belongs, and thinking only about the future. Yeah. That’s what professionals do I’m pretty sure.
