The Pistons have Blake Griffin now. It will take me a while to get used to this fact, but in the meantime, we can figure out the potential ramifications the acquisition has on Reggie Bullock and his minutes.
Um.
Bullock is a small forward, right? Right? Yeah. Let’s say he’s a small forward. Griffin is a power forward. They play two different positions if we accept those two statements as fact. Okay.
This is hard.
Also the Pistons traded away Tobias Harris, who I think was taking some of Bullock’s minutes. Well, maybe not “taking”. He was the better player, he earned those minutes. But now he’s gone, so is there anything stopping Bullock from playing all 48? Does Griffin want to play small forward sometimes? I bet he does. Then he can shoot all the threes he wants and not have to worry about banging into big dudes.
I hope Bullock’s minutes don’t go down. I like it when he scores points. Like tonight. 22 points is the most he’s ever scored, and if Griffin comes in and starts making it worse for Bullock, that will be too bad. I won’t like that.
