Does Paul “Zipskrieg” Zipser look a little bit like a mini Omer Asik to you? He totally does. Father and son reunited at last on the Chicago Bulls for real right now. There’s not much similarity between their respective games besides that they both suck, but that thumbnail is freaking me out. It’s so eerie. Damn.
Zipser has not been good this season. He wasn’t good last season either, but he’s even worse now. The Bulls have, at points in the season, been desperate for someone, anyone, to step up, and he has absolutely not done so. Sometimes he has an okay game scoring, but that’s not enough when he doesn’t do much else on the court. 16 points is his high-water mark this year which, again, is fine, and at least lets me cross this dude off my list for the season.
If I ever said he was the next Dirk Nowitzki, I’m really sorry. The next Dirk Nowitzki obviously remains Tim Ohlbrecht and there is little you or anyone else can say to change my opinion.
