T.J. McConnell needed only four more steals for a quadruple-double tonight. He was not ridiculously far off a frickin’ QUADRUPLE-DOUBLE. Remember when MCW did something similar in his first ever game? Remember how hyped you were? That’s how hyped you should be now, except maybe tempered slightly because this was against the Knicks instead of the defending champion LeHeat, but also maybe a little extra hype should be added because this dude is a white American, looks like he shouldn’t be in the NBA, and can’t dunk.
You could tell he was hyped for himself, definitely. He was telling the crowd to get loud BEFORE he even got the trippy-doobie. And his teammates were really hyped as well. The Knicks, however, we decidedly not hyped. I don’t know why that was, didn’t they realize that he got a triple-double and added 6 steals to put the nutsack cherry on the Knicks-forehead sundae?
