You probably don’t realize it, but the Pelicans currently have on their roster two of the top ten three-point shooters in the NBA by percentage. They have E’Twaun Moore, who’s been quiet lately but is still shooting 43.3% from three (sixth on the list), and they have Darius Miller shooting an even 43.0% from three (tenth). I don’t know what the cut-off criteria is for making that list, but Moore and Miller are both on it, and it’s important that people realize this fact because…
Okay, so it’s not that important or even that interesting. It doesn’t really disprove the point that the Pelicans still have failed to build a solid team around Anthony Davis because they’re counting on these role-players to provide major scoring. But it’s sort of neat from the DTB perspective that two of the elite three-point shooting role-players in the league are on the same team. Yeah, I called them elite. So what? You wanna make something of it?
