Attention German peoples: I am still waiting for Tim Ohlbrecht (who is the next Dirk) to show up again and be good. Luckily you have supplied me with one (1) Daniel Theis and one (1) Maxi Kleber, so my appetite for German sausage is sated, but only temporarily. Theis is great, I’m excited for him especially after tonight’s display, but he is not the next Dirk. Ohlbrecht is the next Dirk. I will be waiting, but my patience is not unlimited.
This is Theis’ best scoring performance by far in the NBA. He scored in the low double-digits a couple times, but now, now he’s scored 19, which is almost 20 as far as I’m concerned. The Pistons had no answer for him; Blake Griffin is entirely uninterested in playing any sort of defense, and do you think Andre Drummond wants to go all the way out to the arc to contest those threes? Heck no he doesn’t. Theis could’ve scored 30 if he was a little more aggressive shooting his shots, showing Al Horford who the real All-Star is (hint: it’s Daniel Theis you dumbos).
