Kentavious Caldwell-Pope 34 Points/8 Threes Full Highlights (2/24/2018)

Lakers fans are finding out first-hand the operating methods of one Kentavious “I Was In Such Trouble With The Law That I Couldn’t Play Games Outside The State Of California But For Some Reason The NBA Community At Large Hardly Noticed” Caldwell-Pope. Namely, that he likes to be the streakiest player in the league.

As compared to the “streakeriest” player, which is (was) probably Greg Oden.

8 threes is KCP’s career-high in that stat, but it doesn’t feel surprising at all that he did it. He can miss 20 shots in a row then make the next 20. That’s what he is, and if you don’t like it, you can go become a Clippers fan.

He had a whole fourth quarter in this one with which to make more triples, maybe challenge Curry’s record, but he seemed content with what he had already accomplished. That’s cool, but it would be cooler if he would blatantly chuck in order to set meaningless records. I can’t think of anything cooler, actually.
