Bogdan Bogdanovic 21 Points Full Highlights (2/24/2018)

Bogdan Bogdanovic, apparently, did really well in the Rising Stars challenge for the “World” team. So well that they gave him a trophy for doing so well. And unlike the trophies that they gave to me as a kid (TBH the bowling one I have is pretty swag but damn I sucked at that), this one definitely means that he’s a good basketball player. Or was a good basketball player for at least one game. Or something.

I don’t understand why people care about stats accumulated in what amounts to a meaningless exhibition game. But that’s neither here nor there. I’ll let it slide for now. But obviously it doesn’t mean anything, because Bogdanovic came back to real NBA basketball after that performance and put up a stinker. 4 points, 2 assists, 5 turnovers, and it was a close game too so the Kings could’ve used him playing at his normal level.

This game is a little better. 21 points doesn’t seem like a lot, but he doesn’t actually score 20 as often as it seems like he should. And thus, we return to my main point of contention with BogBog: he’s not aggressive enough. Normally I don’t like chuckers, but I’m making an exception because of his supremely smooth shooting stroke: he needs to shoot more shots. A lot more. Shoot it all the time, don’t even pass it unless it’s to Willie Cauley-Stein for an oop.
