Stanley Johnson 19 Points Full Highlights (2/28/2018)

Due to life circumstances, I was unable to watch last night’s Bucks-Pistons game, and it’s a good thing that those circumstances came up, because I would have been PISSED OFF TO HELL AND BACK while watching the free-falling Pistons led by Blake “Superstar Shooting 40%” Griffin just totally demolish the Bucks. Watching Stanley Johnson embarrass so-called “good” defenders like Giannis and Middleton with his non-existent offensive game would undoubtedly have led to me biting myself in anger.

Johnson is shooting a nice 37% this season, so every time he scores in double-digits it feels like an accident. Allegedly his stout defense makes up for his offensive shortcomings (he probably locked Giannis down, I don’t know, I really would rather not think about it right now), but when his offense and defense are both flowing, that’s when you can start to see why he was drafted so high.

This win probably erases some of the angst Pistons fans were feeling over their mediocre team that has no upside and could be the start of a streak that puts them back in the playoff hunt. Good for them, I guess. I’m going to be sitting over here trying to contain my hotly-bubbling rage.
