Donovan Mitchell 26 Points Full Highlights (3/2/2018)

Interesting note: in the month of February, Donovan Mitchell only shot above 50% from the field one time, and that was the first game of the month where he dropped forty points. He followed that up by scoring two whole points in his next game (does he even want to average 20 PPG?), and the rest of the month passed by in a blur of high-volume, low-efficiency chuckfests. In the three February games that Mitchell played after he took home that dunk contest hardware (I can’t say if he deserved it since I haven’t seen any of the dunks from this year’s contest), he shot exactly forty percent on 55 total shot attempts.

Now the great cosmic calendar has ticked over into March and Mitchell is back on track, going 10-of-18 from the field for 26 points, leaving Timberpoops fans buttflustered and and Jazz fans optimistic about their rejuvenated playoff hopes. Frankly, I’d rather the Jazz get in than the Clippers, because watching a young chucker combo guard (Mitchell) is more exciting to me than watching an old chucker combo guard (Lou Williams).
