That’s what you sound like right now, tears and all. I’m fully aware that, two games ago, Josh Jackson scored twenty points, which is one more point than he scored here. Do you think I don’t know that? Do you take me for an idiot? Here’s the deal: in that twenty-point game, Jack Joshson went 6-of-15 from the floor (not that good) and friggin’ shot ELEVEN free throws. Eleven of them. Eight of them went in the basket. That’s not fun. That’s not cool. That’s lame as heck.
At a certain point, DTB has to put his foot down and say “no, I’m not going to reward bad games with highlight videos”. I don’t want Jackson to get the idea that he can chuck his way to twenty points and automatically get a highlight video just for that. No. That’s not how it’s going to work anymore. Jackson has had enough legitimately good games in the NBA (like the one you’re watching right now) that the bad ones can just be ignored.
